Sure, but you specified hard times. I am not currently experiencing anything out of the ordinary (knock on wood).
The fact that you were going to start in October is what makes me think there was something holding you back (your conscience, perhaps). Maybe that means something more complex is happening than even you know.
I was just off on the dates. It was out of my control.
But whatever happened in October (i don't want to pry) caused you to choose not to use alcohol, so you can't deny the significance that drinking has on you. That's very concerning when you think about it.
