It is particularly sad when someone is diagnosed with HIV. There is a lot of shame and denial that comes with this diagnosis, leaving people like Charlie Sheen open to exploitation. It is also sad because getting HIV is definitely avoidable. It appears Sheen has difficulty making wise, adult decisions and now he's paying a heavy price for this. But, contracting HIV isn't really just about Charlie Sheen is it?.

Very often one reads posts from Getbiggers who boast about "going raw" and having multiple partners. This lifestyle is a recipe for disaster. Anyone who believes otherwise is deluded. Some folks think they are in the clear or invincible because they only engage in heterosexual relations. They are dead wrong about this. I'm not sure what your comment has to do with Charlie Sheen. If I engaged in risky behavior, it was long before anyone had ever heard about HIV or AIDS. Lots of us young folks engaged in risky behavior in the 60's.
