Basile has a very strange personality. He sees the world in black and white:
Hetero is good, homosexual is bad

However, this very simple world view tends to have a pessimistic skew:
He spent so many hours on bodybuilding, yet he said he did not like to work out.

It seems he has always had this bitter and negative personality, even when he was younger.

I also remember when he was whining about being a high school teacher, while having some other job at the same time: I worked so hard, with multiple jobs at once, so I spoiled myself by buying a Porsche.

Was the Porsche really worth having multiple jobs at the same time, that he did not like?

Basile has made bad choices in life, and now these choices turned him into a bitter old man.
