I've traveled to almost every major city in the US and other countries in Europe.  I've been in and out of many gyms along the way.  Judging by my observations I'd estimate that 95% of the people who workout regularly cannot bench 500.  Even most juiced up hardcore lifters can't do it.

I sent copies of powerlifting USA to OMR to show some of my lifts when I competed and other proof. No videos back in the dark ages when I put up 505. Oh and what's left of one of my 80's trophies.

Mid fifties and grandfather to be still in pretty good shape considering my spinal problems.
