does gear go bad from heat or time????

I have some eq in my house and the shelf it was on gets really hot during the summer. also i left some in my car trunk. can the gear go bad from the heat. its not always hot and some of the time i would put it some place better. it was in the trunk for 3 the last 3 weeks and it was hot is it still good.

not sure about the heat, but yes it will go bad with time.  it has an expiration date like everything else

Should be fined as long as it is not water base. But extrem high heat will decease the strength of the drugs.

Yeah no sh*t, that is the worst place to hide it.  Never in your car.

Store it in a dark place at room temp.

Taking vials (esp opened ones) from very cold to warm is bad.
The stuff can chrystalize/ Fall out in the bottom.

If he lives in an area that has a cool climate like Maine or maybe Washington, his stuff may be o.k. in the trunk.
The heat will just lower the potency of the substance.
It is supposed to be kept around 77 degrees which is room temp.
I used to have to hide stuff in my car to hide it from my wife, but it was during the wintertime, so it was o.k. then.

Some gear turns to the Darkside.......

On a serious note, I spoke tp Phd. at drug company and there is a formula for each year after the expiration date.  Oil based drugs will hold their potency for about 3 years after exp. date, of course this will vary per manufacture and drug.  This guy was a National level Power lifter and is always up front.
