Title: Stallone, Schwarzenegger and more anti-gun celebs

The Sandy Hook Elementary school tragedy has ignited a ferocious debate about gun control. You may be surprised by the positions the following celebs have:

-When Arnold Schwarzenegger began his ran for governor of California in 2003, he voiced support for the ban on assault weapons in the U.S. as well as the Brady Bill, the handgun violence prevention act. In fact, The Governator told Time, “I’m for gun control. I’m a peace-loving guy.

-Also surprising? Rambo himself is anti-gun. In response to the shooting of Phil Hartman in 1999, Sylvester Stallone told Access Hollywood, “Until America, door to door, takes every handgun, this is what you’re gonna have. It’s pathetic. It really is pathetic. It’s sad. We’re living in the Dark Ages over there.”.......
-Matt Damon told The Sunday Herald in 2003, “I actually hate guns. They freak me out.”

-Chuck Norris has long supported the Second Amendment as a NRA spokesperson. He also starred in the 2010 commercial “Trigger the Vote”

Arnold goes with whatever will curry him the most favor, I remember interviews around the time Terminator were he talked about how much he loved the UZI, and he was had or was going to buy one. I also remember him glad handing gun owners at one of the largeer firearms events, it might of been the Great Western Collectors show.

He's tied to the Kennedy's and California, so it's not surprising that he's leaning that way now.

I figured that I would highlight a decent part of the excerpt, since many of the readers would turn away after reading what Arnold said, and post in disgust.

Brad Pitt Buying Angelina Jolie a Gun Range

 Mon, September 03, 2012
Brad Pitt has splashed out $400,000 on a gun range as a wedding gift for Angelina Jolie.

The couple are getting married at their French estate Miraval later this year and Brad installed the range and armory for his future bride.

A source told The Sun newspaper, “Brad had a lot to live up with his wedding gift considering Angelina exchanged vials of blood with her ex-husband Billy-Bob Thornton.

“But Ange clearly finds shooting an aphrodisiac. When she and Brad were around weapons on the set of 2005′s ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’ they ended up together.”

The insider adds, “And by letting Angelina de-stress at the range, he’s less likely to get earache indoors. There’s a lot to be said for that when you have six kids.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie became engaged in April of this year after dating for seven years. The couple admits their six children has been pressuring them to get married.

Angelina Jolie Touts Gun Ownership

“I bought original, real guns of the type we used in ‘Tomb Raider’ for security. Brad and I are not against having a gun in the house, and we do have one,” Jolie tells the U.K. Daily Mail.

In case you’re wondering whether a Malibu celeb would really use a firearm for self-defense, Jolie supplies the answer: “Yes, I'd be able to use it if I had to. I could handle myself. I think there are certain combat skills that would come out.

“If anybody comes into my home and tries to hurt my kids, I've no problem shooting them,”

It's all BULLSHIT!  These guys have ARMED BODYGUARDS and live in mansions.

the 1% of the country want to take the guns away from the other 99%. They also want a one world government because they want to be frozen at the top. Many Hollywood elites are considered very liberal and prefer a socialistic government. However the reason many of them want this type of government is because they are at the top and will have much less competition in a One world type of environment.

So true bro...However, whats happening in America and the world today isn't news to many people. In fact, many people have been saying exactly what was going to happen. It's just people were to quick to write these people off as conspiracy nuts etc. Yet a lot of it is coming true. The writing has been on the wall for awhile now.

nah they dont want to enslave a\nyone, the system is just perfect for them as it is now.

They're watching what the billionaire corporations are doing in jumping ship and setting up in 3rd world countries. These highly paid actors and actresses see themselves as corporations. Hell even NBA basketball players see the writing on the wall and are going after endorsements in China etc. A One world socialistic government freezes them where they are and opens them up to the whole globe. Joe Rogan made reference to something like this in a cryptic type of way saying if a One World Government happened tomorrow, my net wealth would increase 10 fold within a year.

I'll just say this ...

I wish some of the people whining and raising hell about the need for "more gun control" would, at the very least, familiarize themselves with the laws already on the books.

I also wish said whiners would stop fucking exaggerating about how much nastier "assault rifles" are than a pair of fully-loaded 92 Fs.  Just the other day, I caught the first few minutes of "The View."  (Hey, I fap it to Bessy Hasslebeck.  She's gorgeous and I've had a thing for her ever since the second season of Survivor.  Sue me :) .)

Whoopi Goldberg, who is surprisingly intelligent, started going off about how one "couldn't hunt with an assault rifle" because whatever you shot with one would be "completely blown away."  Then she made some insane comment about how they're no good for "home defense" because "one shot would take out a wall" -- or somesuch similar nonsense.

An AR-15 or AK aren't fucking rocket launchers.  Single rounds pack a hell of a punch, but they don't reduce a 10-point buck into a mess of gore.  We're not talking fucking PHASER RIFLES here, where one shot at max turns someone into vapor!  Exaggerating that shit is simply irresponsible.  I've hunted Russian boar with an AR-15 many times in the NC mountains.  Did one hit just reduce the boar to a pile of blood?  Err ... heh, NO.  Sometimes I was lucky enough to shoot one through the head such that it dropped pretty fast -- I don't want them to suffer -- but glancing blows did absolutely dick; even hits in non-vitals would see the pig going for many hours, if not more, before he bled out (though, again, I'd never let that happen).

What worries me most about an assault weapon ban is the slippery slope that might follow.  Remember how NYC's dickhead Mayor Bloomberg banned smoking essentially everywhere?  Oh, since the majority of New Yorkers don't smoke, they were all in favor of that.  Fuck the 20% that do!  Fuck leaving things to individual establishments' preferences.  Best to just enact a sweeping law that doesn't permit the Jews anyone any leeway.

But he didn't stop there.  Then, he went after, of all things, SALT.  And if that wasn't enough, those really big soda drinks = oops!  OUTLAWED.

In logic, there's a fallacy called the slippery slope.  I can't remember the Latin name and I'm not exercising my Google-Fu to dig it up.  But the chain of reasoning behind a slippery slope isn't always fallacious; it's just bogus when someone makes wild leaps of logic from step to step.

I don't see that the assault weapon ban is a potentially illogical example of a slippery slope.  A socialist like Obama, free to do as he wishes with a second term secured, might go apeshit, follow fellow socialist Bloomberg's example and try to enforce all manner of additional restrictions on healthy-minded, law-abiding gun-owners' rights to, well, own and bear arms.

I do tend to think Barack is too smart to completely alienate proud gun-owners.  And while I do think he is probably a good man, I do not trust him or his goals.

The litmus test will be how he works with Congress to resolve the tax question.  If it doesn't work out, I'm sure there will be plenty of finger-pointing toward the "evil, rich-O Republicans"; of course, in reality, any sane person will recognize that things aren't remotely so simple as to unilaterally blame the GOP or members thereof.

That you're right. These uneducated celebs that people listen to think ARs do some 50 caliber damage when they're normally .223 caliber 'spray and pray' type of firearms for close distance. Every hunting rifle I own will produce more damage per shot vs an AR, even the ones I own from my youth. The comparisons are vastly different when targets exceed 100 yards as mid-range accuracy for these guns suck . They are just a beefed up version of a 22magnum or 22lr.

I think it's sad and a tragedy what happened but banning certain guns is not the answer. It'll open up heavier regulation on semi-auto hunting rifles.

Good idea, cheap guns, expensive bullets.

Would limit how many that would die during serialkillings.

Half the guys I know who are serious about guns also reload their own rounds already. It's not rocket science. Primer, brass casing, bullet, powder, crimper. Throw in $200 worth of tools and you can make your own. Shotgun shells are even easier..
