Crazy. Had he focused on refining his mass, bringing in his stomach and a little more quads, he'd have been top 6 at any show. It's easy to see what MuscleTech saw in him.

That back double bi is pretty awesome.

I agree, he had a chance with that physique, but he ruined it- presumably Dave Palumbo style- GH, insulin, and overeating

How do you focus on bringing down your stomach?  We all know that line is BS.  The only way to bring it down is to stop the insulin, GH, and IGF, but then they lose muscle size with it.

His back looks pretty good.  He was pretty dry in that contest, but the gut was still huge and he has synthol peaks on his biceps.

He almost had it all.  By gym standards perfect.  By pro standards just a little light in the upper lags and waist a little too big.  But I'm really picking on him with those points.  Damn him!  What went wrong!  He was pretty good at one point!

Exactly. He was no Dexter Jackson, but he at least had a chance back then.

Diet more and focus on holding in your stomach all day, every day.

I'd like to see his '96 face compared to his '08 face...2 completely different people.

I have to say, he looks very, very good there!  He is around the same height as Gunter and was 308 at that contest.  Gunter was 300 in 2002 and 295 in 2005.  How do you suppose he would compare to Gunter strictly in terms of sheer size?  Obviously Gunter would be the superior bodybuilder, but size wise, what would you say?

Here is another clip from a 1990 contest:

He's put together very oddly. Good shoulder size, but little arms. Thick chest, but a barrel waist to go with it. Huge back, but from the front his lats seems to be thin- though from the back he's thick as hell. Quads are small for his frame too.
Too bad he went, not just for mass, but for all out mass MuscleTech style. I remember reading a lot of those ads- I mean articles! He was up to 400lbs at one point. I think it was 406, and MT said they would bring him to the Olympia stage at 350lbs RIPPED.
Didn't happen, obviously. :-\

At the 04(?) AC, he was 335lbs. He was rumored to be 440 at one stage, i dont believe it, but he did get over 400. Just crazy :o
No doubt about it...

Oh I believe that he was well over 300lbs at pretty much all of his contests. The part when I said "didn't happen obviously," was where he stepped on the Olympia stage at 350lbs."
I totally believe that he got up to well over 400lbs too.
But either way, being that big, he was not a pretty site.

Some who live in southern Ontario where he lives say they see him sometimes and he is literally a wall of muscle at 6'2 and close to 400 pounds in at a lean body fat - big midsection, but actually quite lean.

Greg at 385 pounds in late 2003 from my [dead as fuck] forum:
