I've heard the same thing about Dickson. Good athlete but he drops a lot of balls. The offense will rely on him a lot this year with Pitta lining up as a WR at times. I don't trust moving Jacoby Jones to the #2 WR spot. In fact, I hate it. Keep him in the slot and on special teams.

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. -- Massachusetts State Police searched the home of New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on Tuesday night in connection with a possible homicide. A source with knowledge of the investigation said police spoke to Hernandez on Monday.
About 10 police cars flanked Hernandez's home Tuesday night, with cops searching Hernandez's home for more than two hours. One detective was seen leaving the house with a cardboard box.
Hernandez is not believed to be a murder suspect, according to a source, but a vehicle rented in his name has emerged as a key piece of evidence in the investigation. The Sun Chronicle of Attleboro, Mass., reported on Tuesday that police identified a rented 2013 Chevrolet Suburban with Rhode Island license plates in connection with the possible homicide. According to the paper, the vehicle is registered to Enterprise and investigators were hoping to analyze it for fingerprints. A source said Hernandez's name is tied to that rental vehicle.
A jogger found the body of a 27-year-old Boston man on Monday in an North Attleboro clearing, less than a mile from Hernandez's home.
An unmarked car was blocking the driveway to Hernandez's home. Yasmina Serdarevic, a spokesperson for the Bristol County District Attorney's Office, declined comment on Tuesday afternoon when contacted by SI.com.
A source close to Hernandez acknowledged a connection between the player and the case, but would not elaborate. Athletes First, Hernandez's agency, declined comment when contacted by SI.com. Hernandez has consulted with a lawyer, who did not return a call from SI.com.
A fourth-round pick in the 2010 draft, Hernandez was named to the Pro Bowl in his second season. Last season he caught 51 passes and scored five touchdowns for the Patriots.
After the police arrived 7 p.m., two males attempted to leave the house and questioned the blocking of the driveway. After several minutes they were taken away separately by police, but weren't handcuffed.
North Attleboro is 40 miles south of Boston and 13 miles south of Foxboro, where the Patriots play their home games. Hernandez's area of North Attleboro is popular with Patriots players, as Hernandez bought the home belonging to former Patriot Ty Warren.

Aaron Hernandez will be in handcuffs soon, and charged with obstruction of justice -- and possibly more -- according to reports.
An arrest warrant has been issued for the New England Patriots star -- according to WBZ in Boston -- and Massachusetts State Police are expected to handle the arrest sometime on Friday.
Police have been swarming around Hernandez's home all week investigating the death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd ... who was found shot in the head about a mile away from Hernandez's home.
Police searched Hernandez's house, and the the obstruction charge would reportedly stem from evidence he destroyed his home security system -- which included video surveillance footage.
As we first reported ... Hernandez is also accused of shooting a man in Miami back in February. The victim has filed a civil lawsuit against Hernandez, but it's still possible he could face criminal charges.

i was watching the first 48 a few months ago, anyways a retired police lieutenant was killed while working security at a ship yard
all they found was a make shift gun silencer out of a plastic orange juice bottle so they sent it in to get DNA tested
an eye witness gave a discription and saw the white toyota camery and plate number, they ran the plates and the plates we stolen from another car
3 months later dna of the bottle came in, it matched a dude that lives in New Jersey that got arrested a week prior for beating up his girlfriend and was in jail for it and had to give dna (law now when anyone gets arrested)
they went to check up on the lead, asked the GF what kind of car she drives she said a white toyota camery, asked her if she has ever been to miami she said yea her and her bf went 3 months ago.

The DA said Lloyd was shot multiple times in the groin, arm, side, chest and back with a .45 caliber semi automatic weapon before his body was discovered last Monday.
Prosecutors say there was communication between the victim and Hernandez just 10 hours before the victim's death. They believe they have video showing Lloyd getting into Hernandez' car around that time. They also say Hernandez had been texting Lloyd.
The DA said keys were found in Lloyd's pocket to a car that had been rented by Hernandez.
The Friday before Lloyd's body was found, prosecutors say Hernandez and Lloyd went to a nightclub together.
As for the motive, prosecutors believe Odin had said something recently to Hernandez that destroyed his trust.
As we reported, Hernandez was arrested today at his Massachusetts home after Lloyd's body was discovered close to the NFL star's home last week.
Lloyd is believed to have been dating the sister of Aaron's fiancee at the time of his murder.

For more than 20 minutes, Bristol County prosecutor William McCauley stood in a Massachusetts courtroom Wednesday detailing the events that led to Aaron Hernandez's arrest and subsequent charge of first-degree murder.
With Hernandez, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, standing just a few feet away, McCauley went through a timeline of events – extracted from surveillance videos, cell phone records and cell phone towers – that the prosecution says ended with the execution of Odin Lloyd:
June 16
9:02 p.m.: Hernandez texts a friend out of state, saying "please make it back."
9:05: Hernandez texts Lloyd that he wants to get together.
9:35: Hernandez texts a friend in Connecticut that says "get your ass up here."
10:23: Hernandez texts the same friend, "Hurry your ass up."
McCauley indicated that Hernandez recently had 14 surveillance cameras installed in his home. Video from the cameras show two men arriving at Hernandez's home in North Attleboro. Later footage shows Hernandez with a firearm. At one point, Hernandez says to one of the men that he "can't trust anyone anymore," according to McCauley.
June 17
1:12 a.m.: The three men depart Hernandez's home in a silver Nissan Altima, according to surveillance video, cell phone towers and cell phone records.
Cell towers track their movement south on Interstate 95. At some point, they turn around, then head north before stopping at a gas station on Route 128.
2:10: Hernandez buys gas, a pack of Bubblicious gum and rolling papers.
2:32: The silver Altima arrives at Lloyd's house. Hernandez sends a text message: "We're here."
Lloyd's sister watches Odin Lloyd leave the house and get into the silver Altima. Neighborhood surveillance video shows Hernandez arriving in the neighborhood as well.

McCauley explains that during ride back toward North Attleboro, Hernandez tells Lloyd that when they were at a club, Rumor, the previous Friday night, "certain things upset him," including Lloyd talking to some people Hernandez had "troubles" with. McCauley did not indicate how he obtained this information.
3:07: Lloyd texts his sister, "Did you see who I was with?"
McCauley suggests that this indicates the "temperature" in the car.
Lloyd does not receive a response.
3:11: Lloyd texts his sister again, "Hello."
3:19: Lloyd's sister responds, "My phone was dead. Who?"
3:22: Lloyd responds, "NFL."
3:23: Lloyd: "Just so you know."
By this point, the four men inside the silver Altima have gotten off I-95 on Route 152, near Hernandez's home, McCauley says records show.
3:23 a.m.: McCauley says surveillance video shows the Altima at a fork in the road. McCauley indicates that one way leads to Hernandez's home, the other down a gravel road where Lloyd's body would later be found. Video shows Hernandez's car going down the gravel road behind a group of industrial buildings.
3:23-3:27: People working the overnight in the industrial park hear gunshots.
3:27: Silver Altima is viewed coming out of gravel road.
3:29: Video at Hernandez's home shows the silver Altima pulling into his driveway.
McCauley states that the distance between where Lloyd's body was found and Hernandez's home is a 2-minute drive.
The crime scene:
• According to McCauley, police found five shell casings – three at Lloyd's feet, two some distance away.
• An autopsy showed two wounds to the chest – one near the left nipple, the other near the right nipple.
• Lloyd did not appear to be robbed, as he still had his wallet, phone and keys.
McCauley explained that Hernandez returned the Altima to a rental car agency, with the driver's-side mirror missing. A worker at rental agency discovered a shell casing under the driver's seat, next to a piece of Bubblicious gum. The shell casing and the gum were tossed into a garbage bin, where police later found them.
After McCauley finished, Hernandez's defense team requested their client be granted bail based on the prosecution's reliance on circumstantial evidence. "It is at bottom a circumstantial case," Hernandez's attorney Michael Fee told the court. "It is not a strong case." Bail was denied and Hernandez, who stood expressionless through most of the arraignment, remained in custody.

An associate of Aaron Hernandez is now officially wanted in connection with the murder of Odin Lloyd ... and police just blasted his face and name out to the world on a wanted poster.
Police believe 41-year-old Ernest Wallace was one of two other men in the car with Hernandez on the evening of June 14th ... when Lloyd was shot and killed. Wallace is wanted as an accessory after the fact in Lloyd's murder.
Police say he is armed and dangerous.
The other person in the car, Carlos Ortiz, was arrested Wednesday in Hernandez's hometown of Bristol, Connecticut.
According to the poster ... Wallace also goes by "BO" and "Fish." Police say he was last seen driving a silver/gray 2012 Chrysler 300 -- and is now most likely in Florida, Georgia, Connecticut or Massachusetts.

Lawyers would put so much doubt in the minds of the jury it wouldn't even be funny. State attorneys will bring in a ballistic guy, while his lawyers will bring a Physics guy. If the bullet was hot out the chamber of the gun, there should be micro-burns at the point it impacted the seat or the carpet. HARTFORD (CBS Connecticut) — Does the National Football League have a crime problem?
CBS News reports that 27 players have been arrested since the Super Bowl on Feb. 3. Just over the past two days alone two players are facing murder charges. New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd while Cleveland Browns rookie Ausar Walcott was charged with attempted murder Monday for allegedly punching a man in the head outside a club in New Jersey.
Both players were subsequently cut following their arrests.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has come down hard on players for their criminal transgressions since taking over for Paul Tagliabue and CBS Sports host James Brown says that won’t change.
“Roger Goodell has been very resolutely focused on cleaning up the league,” Brown told “CBS This Morning.” “He has come in under a law and order mandate, personal mandate, and that is going to be his legacy.”
Brown added that Goodell is “very serious in attacking” just one violation.
Brown also said that despite the 27 arrests, if put in context, it’s still only 1 percent of the population.
“Because it’s a high-profile, elite level of athletes, any aberrant behavior is going to be magnified,” Brown said.
Other notable players who have been arrested during the offseason are Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones for allegedly assaulting a woman at a nightclub, Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Peters for allegedly drag racing and trying to elude the police and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Rolando McClain for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

In my opinion, the patriots shouldn't give hernandez a single dime if he is guilty, even if it is guaranteed money. An injury is one thing, but murder is another.
The NFL should make legal revisions in their contracts which should void any guaranteed funds should the player commit a major crime.

Court documents indicate the search of a secret "flop house" leased by former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has turned up what police say could be key evidence in the murder case against him.
Police say they learned about the apartment from Carlos Ortiz, a friend of Hernandez's whom prosecutors say was with the ex-player the night he allegedly arranged the shooting of Odin Lloyd.
They then searched the $1,200-a-month apartment in Franklin on June 26, according to search warrant records at Wrentham District Court. Among the findings were a white hooded sweatshirt and a cranberry-colored cap in a bedroom, the documents said.
Surveillance video showed Hernandez, 23, wearing a similar sweatshirt the night Lloyd was killed on June 17, the records say.
He was wearing the cap in a picture shown on a local news station taken outside a nightclub June 14, the Friday before the killing, the documents said. Prosecutors say Hernandez was upset at Lloyd for talking to certain people at the nightclub.
"The white sweatshirt could be used ... to assist in linking Hernandez to the scene of the crime," wrote Trooper Michael Bates, in an affidavit in support of one of the search warrants.
"The baseball hat could help provide the whereabouts of Hernandez on the Friday night before the homicide," Bates wrote.
The search also turned up several boxes of ammunition, including .22-, .45- and 7.62-caliber ammunition.
Lloyd's body was found in an industrial park near Hernandez's North Attleborough home. Prosecutors say Hernandez, Ortiz and another man drove there with Lloyd that night, though they haven't said who shot Lloyd.

Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, meanwhile, reiterated on Wednesday that he won't allow Hernandez to marry his fiancée while he is jailed on his murder charge.
"We're not going to revamp our entire security system to perform marriages inside our prison.
If you want to get married, what you do is, you stay out of jail,"
he told the NFL Network on Wednesday in an interview with the "NFL AM" show, adding he's taken away many privileges from inmates, such as weights, televisions in cells and coffee.

Hernandez indicted in double murder
Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been indicted in the 2012 killings of two men in Boston.
Boston police spokeswoman Neva Coakley confirmed the indictment Thursday. Hernandez is already being held without bail after pleading not guilty to murder in the unrelated death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd last year.
In the 2012 case, victims Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado were shot as they sat in a car in Boston's South End on July 16. Police have said they were shot by someone who drove up alongside in an SUV and opened fire. Boston police have written in an affidavit there is probable cause to believe Hernandez was driving a vehicle used in the shooting and "may have been the shooter.'
Massachusetts law enforcement officials will hold an 11:30 a.m. news conference to discuss details of their investigation into the deaths of Abreu and Furtado.
Hernandez has been charged with first-degree murder in the June 2013 shooting death of Lloyd, a Boston resident who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins. It had been widely reported that Lloyd might have had knowledge about the Boston slayings.

Aaron Hernandez’s sparring partner during a fight Tuesday was handcuffed when the former New England Patriot decided to unleash a jailhouse smackdown, TMZ Sports reported.
The one-time gridiron star lashed out at the other, unidentified inmate around noon Tuesday in a common area at the Bristol County House of Correction in Dartmouth, Mass., where Hernandez has been held without bail since June 26, 2013.
Only one inmate is supposed to be in the area at a time, and the former NFL tight end has purposely been kept segregated from other prisoners because of his celebrity status.
Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson would not confirm who started the brawl, but said neither inmate needed medical attention and that the punchout was over within one minute. Three guards were nearby, Hodgson told the Daily News.

Aaron Hernandez, 24, had kept his nose clean during his time in jail until Tuesday, when he was involved in a fight with another inmate.
"Following our investigation, we'll be able to determine if one or both of the inmates will get any disciplinary action, from a rule violation to administrative discipline or it could rise to criminal charges if it's determined that one was involved in directly assaulting and battering another inmate," Hodgson told the News on Wednesday.
Hodgson said that the housing unit has eight cells total - six of which were occupied at the time of the fight.
“It’s a specialized unit, the procedure is one inmate allowed out at a time, so obviously that’s a concern to me and everyone here, that there was potentially a shortfall, a systematic failure in our procedures,” he said. “We’re going to look at, why were they out at the same time? Was it a judgement error on the part of a staff member, some emergency or something, what exactly was it?”
Hodgson said the claim that the unidentified inmate was handcuffed would be looked at as part of the investigation, which is expected to take a few days.

Inmates cannot interact physically with one another at the segregated housing unit, but Hodgson said they can verbally interact.
The other inmate reportedly was harassing Hernandez all day before the beatdown, according to reports.
Hernandez was out of his cell during his rec time, when he can “make phone calls, take a shower, what have you,” when the fight erupted, Hodgson said.
The 245-pound former NFLer is allowed absolutely zero contact with other inmates, Hodgson said - not during rec time or even meals.

Report: Aaron Hernandez disciplined after gang-related prison fight
Aaron Hernandez was involved in a prison fight Monday at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts, CNN is reporting.
According to CNN, which cited a law enforcement source with knowledge of the incident, Hernandez agreed to be on the lookout for one inmate who went into another prisoner's cell. The two inmates fought, with the source telling CNN the altercation was believed to be gang-related.
All three inmates are being disciplined, according to the report. Hernandez was placed in a special management section at the correctional center.
A spokesman for the Massachusetts Department of Correction declined to comment to CNN.
Hernandez, the former New England Patriots star tight end, was convicted last month of the June 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. He was sentenced to a mandatory term of life in prison without parole. His lawyers have appealed.
Hernandez is expected in court again Thursday, this time for a status hearing regarding his double-murder trial in Boston. He is accused of gunning down two men in 2012 after one caused him to spill his drink at a nightclub. Hernandez also is expected to be arraigned on charges of witness intimidation for allegedly shooting a witness to the fatal shootings, officials in Suffolk County Superior Court said.
Altercations behind bars aren't new for Hernandez.
In February 2014, Hernandez and an inmate being transported from the infirmary at the Bristol County House of Correction in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, allegedly exchanged words. Hernandez allegedly punched the inmate and knocked him to the ground. Neither was injured.
Hernandez was indicted in the alleged jail assault two months later.

BTW, there's no upside AT ALL with "being cooperative" with police. Two step plan: 1.) shut up 2.) lawyer up.
This is long, but WELL worth the watch.
I've only been arrested once. It was for a bullshit minor offence. I did cooperate and start talking then the pig started twisting around what i said on me saying 'You said this etc etc' i went 'I didn't say that!' to which he got very aggressive at me and said i knew what i said so i just stopped talking. Inexperience on my behalf ::)
Anyway he was dumb as shit and had no witnesses as well as being a shit liar (on the fact sheet it said i was arrested at a certain time but then says the offence was committed half an hour after that, plus there were other times completely outside of those as well written down - fucking retard) and i knew a smart cop pretty well. He went over everything with me and said it was a joke there was no evidence and no witnesses and what i was charged with wasn't even a crime the cop must have just hated me. He told me what to do.
I went to court with a Lawyer, case was dropped almost immediately, then i went for court costs and received $1,500 when the fine for the offence would have only been like $300 anyway.
At that point their prosecutor stood up and tried to make out i was guilty despite the case being over anyway. He said three things that were completely different from what was written in the Police's brief to make out i was guilty, one of which was i didn't talk to the Police at all, despite a conversation recorded in the Police fact sheet. At that point the judge stopped him/Bitch slapped him down and said 'It's his right to say nothing!' and their Prosecutor went silent.
Point is, saying nothing doesn't go against you in court. Talking will.
Also had another incident occur while that case was going where the cops were trying to get me to talk. They thought i'd just done a drug deal when it wasn't but i wasn't saying anything. I kept my mouth shut to the point where i had to talk because i was with my car and my cop mate had told me to talk when at a car since Police have more rights. All i said was you are all corrupt and make shit up why would i talk to you, but because i kept my mouth shut about anything they were asking me and i had nothing at all incriminating in the car they had to let me go. If i'd said too much i'd be fucked.
