Gossip & Opinions / Re: Eddie curls girls!

I used to dislike Eddie but I don't see the issue with him now, he's openly had/has mental health issues and credits the gym for helping him.
He came across arrogant but most of that was a facade, he's done some interesting and fun stuff on his YouTube channel and is complimenting to all the different athletes he's had on there.

"What if?"

What if the attacker has a gun or bazooka or a machine gun?

It took awhile but the "use bjj" response has arrived.

Joe Rogan has remarked how open a bjj practitioner is to having their eyeballs gouged out.

Go roll with your son-in-law, the 300 lb bjj artist. When he has you down or in a clinch, stick your thumbs or fingers in his eyes.  Report back on his reaction.

Uhm...please read the original post.  I'll give you a mulligan.  ;)

"You are teaching a woman or a senior citizen.  Either is not physically powerful.

What techniques would be effective?

Unarmed self-defense against a single attacker on the street.

No running away either."

I don't think having a weak woman or senior citizen rolling around on the pavement with the attacker would be a good idea, do you?

Sorry, no weapons in this scenario.

Yes  BBJ is not for older people or anyone with joint injuries. not putting BJJ down as i have a Judo background & did enjoy groundwork but itīs not the be all & end all of fighting.
the best fighters in most cases outside are Boxers.
One guy i knew who was an army boxer & amateur boxer from Glasgow before he joined was fast as fuck & i saw him smash a few guys in bar brawls.
wasnīt a bully or anything but didnīt fuck around.

The stench of weed and farts must be off putting

Did he fix the blinds in the office? Maybe that will help.

They finally stopped testing me every week this year.

What kind of job do you have that would test you every week?

Me and a buddy were hammered after hours in a bar in college and there was this off duty cop that would always hang around trying to be cool. Anyway we got him to faze us one night and it hurt and my buddy actually peed his pants a bit.

Ok it was me.

Yeh, our buddy also moistened his shorts - big guy too - I think he thought his layer of perma-bulk might protect him somehow - the way hogs absorb snakebites  ;D

Voting is rigged. Biden will win with the most amount of votes in US history again.  Watch every blue state will show him winning. Trump will win every single swing state but then in the following days Democrats will truck in ballots for Biden to flip it.

His personality wont allow him to accept hes done anything wrong, hes not posting because he cant

It was his anniversary but thats not really an excuse as he wasnt even in the same postcode as Em was at her daughters house

Spencer seems to be out of the picture so it cant be that,m then again he has posted selfies with poor Spence sitting on the sofa behind him getting traumatised for life

hes had a message on FB to "check hes OK"

Is he ever truly okay ?

Poor upbringing, complete lack of discipline, distorted sense of entitlement, and no respect for others. Classic weak little brother syndrome, manifests itself as NPD.

Training Logs and Info / Re: Oldtimer1

It should be a lifting day for me. Taking an unplanned day off of training. My first work set in the weight room was a just fuck it moment.  I need an extra day off to come back stronger. Beginning to see with better clarity how to approach training in my mid 60's.  I believe using one set to failure per exercise while trying to be a good runner is the wrong approach.  If I didn't have such an involved running program it would be a correct choice for me. Since I'm prioritizing running or at least giving 50% of my training effort weekly something has to give. Going to use multiple sets when I come back with moderate weights. If I gave up running and just concentrated on lifting I bet I could still get my weights used up significantly but maybe it's time to work on for lack of a better term muscular endurance.
why not do a Bob Gadja type routine & get muscle with great heart training.
