LMFAO

Bench knows the deal.  You want to challenge yourself?  Go outside your comfort zone once and awhile.

The HEAVY will be the hardest thing I ever attempted.   So the game plan is to obviously try to keep my strength up w lifting routines, but also adding mileage pr week progressively as the time gets closer.

Heavy bench 12 sets of 3
Standing barbell press 10 sets of 3
Pull ups 5 sets of 10(all grips)
Tried to do dips but one of my handles are bent so I have to fix that
3 sets of 10 goblet squats

Now that's training with serious intent, 12X3's BP and the 10X3 BB presses. What's your set's & reps on dips look like when your doing them?

Done squats with a BB resting in the crook of  the arms, never the global version .  Some start with the BB on the floor and lift from that position (helps with all around body strength), do mine from a lower rack setting. Some pretty impressive weight has been handled from the floor.

 ;D

Yeah - cause putting ones self to the test is such a bad thing as opposed to the iron warriors pumping out a few dumbbell reps.   ::)  ::)

Did that bs for years, got boring as fuck.  Now I lift to help out w tests of myself - big difference.

Some $500 a pair hydro-shock infused beaver hyde shoes with those toes in them.  No doubt.  And no socks cause warriors dont need them.

Didn't get to do them but I was going to do 4 sets to failure..so a lot

The only time I put a rep limit on assistance movements is if I'm supersetting them with main heavy work...for instance when I did pull-ups with bench today

Bench

Thats a good çomplete pressing workout, which most guy's don't do.  Pressing overhead (above the body), pressing out and away from the body (BP) and pressing down and along side the body (dips). I'll do workouts something similar, thought not with set's of 3's. More like 5-7 reps, 2 or 3 sets each.

Yeah, benches & pullup's go well together. Push & pulls help each other.  Done GVT with only Dips & Chin as the total workout.

Most of the top tier Green Berets and Recons I have met wear them on the events so far - and even say many use Saloman on patrols
