This is minor, Olberman was having a heart attack..and yes I watch him everyday now because in AFN's effort to be balanced they carry him. We all make it about half way through and then change the channel.

I dont even watch tv in the morning. You watch more Fox than I do.
I read more left wing sources than you do and usually start my day with HP and DU.

has anyone here ever met or talked with a right winger or teabagger who's ONLY source or information is Faux News. They are so fucking stupid and in misinformed you can practically see their brains shrinking.
I'm convinced that the actors on Faux News are following a script to intentionally dumb down their audience. It's a coordinated longterm strategy to make this group of hardcore viewers dumber and dumber (and more easily manipulated and scared). The same goes for Good Morning America and the other infotainment shows.
A commentator on MSNBC (I think it was Olberman) pointed out the the morning shows spent 30 minutes + on John Edwards bastard kid and only about 2 minutes on the Supreme Court decision from a few days ago.

I watch clips on youtube sometimes. I am in the office till 6:30/7 and he comes on at 5pm.
I listen to him on the radio since his radio show is a lot better than the TV show. I would advise that you watch the documentary he just did that James posted.

I definitely watch Fox News and make no apologies for it. As I said, the only time I've watched MSNBC more was Tuesday night, simply because I wanted to see the buffoonery firsthand of watching Maddow, Olbermann, and Matthews cry like you-know-whats, after Brown won the Mass. seat.

While I disagree with you on that one, if Obama keeps acting a fool, Palin (assuming she makes the run) might just beat him.
Remember what we just saw Tuesday: A Republican, in the BLUEST STATE IN THIS COUNTRY, stated point-blank that he would be (is):
- The 41st Senate vote against ObamaCare,
- In favor of WATERBOARDING to get terrorists to talk,
- Opposed to Cap and Trade,
- A skeptic, regarding global warming,
- Against gay "marriage" (in the VERY STATE that first legalized it, via its Supreme Court) and the Employees Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA),
- Supports "Don't Ask; Don't Tell" in the military.
A REPUBLICAN did that in MASSACHUSETTS, running for the seat, held for FIFTY YEARS by TED KENNEDY......AND HE WON!!!!
If THAT can happen, ANYTHING in politics can happen, including Palin (with some more political seasoning) defeating Obama.

I posted this story last week in religious. I was thinking Christians would have an issue with bible codes placed on weapons. I didn't even think of the angle Fox spun on it. But no christians here seemed to give a shit when I posted it so I guess if they don't give a shit, I don't care. Just odd that they don't mind.

Did the military specifically request the code to be put on the scopes?
Did the govt. request it?
Did contractors request it?
Did the Christian leadership request it?
As far as I know, the answers to these questions are a "NO".
So, correct me if I am wrong, it was the company putting them on the scopes themselves. They made the choice ,the choice alone. Or was it simply a line worker? Metal worker? Who? Does anyone know?
And before anyone responds with "WELL THE MILITARY SHOULD CHECK FOR STUFF LIKE THIS!!!" or "WELL THE MILITARY HAD TO HAVE SEEN IT BUT LET IT SLIDE ANYWAYS!!" Really? Does the military have a bible code decoder team to look for this stuff on scopes, c rations and toothpaste tubes?
Answer some of these questions first, shit maybe they already have been answered but I'm to tired, to full and to drunk to read it so no-one judge me.

It should be pretty simple to find out if this is how the scope was presented, the military knew about it ahead of time or not

Nobody's "dumbing down" any audience. That bowl of sour grapes, repeatedly comes from those, steamed at the success Fox News have achieved.
Olbermann is in NO POSITION, to criticize anyone about what should and shouldn't be covered. He cut the coverage on Scott Brown's victory speech, to interview a fellow progressive, so that they could bleat and whine together about Brown's win.
Fox is top dog in the cable news game, bottom line. CNN can't hang; and MSNBC get CRUSHED!!!
