this asshole has lost a lot of blood, they know it and prolly had ambulances with everything ready to keep him alive as long as possible. They probably went with shields to get him in the boat, once they were sure he was not moving/unconscious.

Can you imagine being a medic and trying your best to keep alive knowing who he is?
