Now we have word from CNN cops were using blanks so who knows who was shooting

I'm sure they are guilty, but I'm also sure they will not release anything in regards to evidence to the public

All those guys you see were all National Guard CST.

After the blast, they are out in the middle of the street, looking toward ground zero.

In less than 3 minutes after the explosion, a CST truck arrives on the scene.

The original two guys are seen leaving the area, walking away from ground zero and the recently arrived CST truck.

None of the CST agents seem to approach the ground zero. They do however begin to inspect underneath the bleachers across the street, and eventually tape it off.

From what I can gather from a few media outlets, the MA CST team was already on the scene. That must include the two guys initially noticed as well as the responding truck. A team from NY was also later deployed.

Obviously these guys are legitimate, and the previously circulated speculation about them being Navy Seals etc are unfounded and absurd.

That is puzzling.. there are options of less lethal bean bags, rubber pellets etc. Blanks just isn't in our arsenal nor SWAT arsenal in real world events. I'm trying to think of what the value would be of prompting return fire.. that would be the last thing you want. Same reason we no longer fire warning shots and haven't in 20 yrs.  

I've no doubt that's what you heard, I do wonder if they were referring to actual "blanks" or another less lethal option. If blanks were used, it would certainly be unusual
