If the Phillies get some pitching going they could repeat. Ibanez has to be the best free agent acquisition this year by any team. I'm a little biased though, I've been a Phillies fan since I came out of my moms womb.

Hard to say... probably Jeter because he's accomplished alot more plus his power.

BTW How about them Dodgers last night 1-0 pitchers Duel...
dodgers winning without manny i'm a bit shocked,but as a yankee fan tip my cap to torre.he is good with the younger guys.jeter is having a season like he did yrs ago hitting the ball all over the place again.yanks are in great position and adding texiera has made a world of difference bat,defense is impeccable.

Locke-Low 90's, great curve, good change. Iffy control. IMO best prospect in this deal
Morton-Mid to back of rotation guy. Fastball about 90, 91, decent offspeed. A step up from Karstens/Olhendorf
Hernandez-Toolsy raw CF, great defense, great speed, expendible due to Schafer

I was at Fenway Saturday night.DAMN was Lester dealin!


should be a good week for East Coast baseball.Yanks vs Sox,Mets vs Phillies,then Yanks vs Mets.
