Title: Lower Abbs
Post by: Honour on July 07, 2007, 08:49:26 PM
Hey guys, I've entered the MrGetBig comp and am looking to try and bring up my lower abbs a bit. My top 2 rows are not too bad but the lower abbs seem to be very flat :-\. Ignoring diet for now what are peoples ideas on the best lower abb exercises? Cheers in advance for any input :).

Roman-Chair Situps...........stretch es the entire abdominal wall from top to bottom.........get a good stretch, and come up,contract/forcibly exhale, keep the range of motion short.

If you can't do a hanging leg lift...do the swiss ball bridge. Start out in a push up position with your feet on the ball, bring your knees to your chest. It's basically like a hanging leg lift but with constant tension on your core.

Those balls really are great for workin abs. But I always feel like such a loser/girlyman when I use it at the gym :P

Ditto...hence why I do abs in the morning before my morning cardio...or wait till I get home from the gym. ;D
