I'm cutting and am focusing on slow contracted reps, usually heavy to moderate weight.

if u have a lacking part in part of your arms , like a head in your tricep, would it be better to hit that part more, or since your already into dieting is it to late to bring that part out

Can't hurt to target the weakness, regardless if you're dieting or not.

It doesn't matter.... If anything it would be best for him to go high volume high reps with minmal rest. His goal is to burn fat. Not much change will occur in the size of his arms over the course of his cut unless of course he is using anabolics with it.

No I believe that some of the best "gains" come from dieting, improving the psych since you actually get to see the transformation, start hitting it hard, low and high reps, really contracting it, and flexing between sets, burning it out, never to late to improve unless your 2 weeks out....err Arvilla is this you? haha

Train them as you would normaly do- hard and heavy as possible while making sure you avoid injury. The dieting and cardio will take care of the cuts, the primary object during a precontest phase is to hold onto muscle hence it is very important to train as heavy as you can. It is a very common error to change routines during the last 12 weeks prior to a show in the misguided belief that you need to do more reps/sets. Let the weights look after the muscle and the Diet/Cardio look after the cuts.

If you don't know how to train arms then you probably shouldn't be doing a contest. Thats just my opinion. Good luck though.

Moderate weight, 16-20 sets for larger bodyparts, 12-16 sets for smaller bodyparts.

3 excersises, 2   50 rep drop sets for each exercise will get last bit of glycogen out.

Go heavy for the first few sets (6-8 reps) then for your last set, do a drop & go to absolute failure. :)
