Title: 7,500 calories per day? $1,000 for you.
Post by: tommywishbone on April 23, 2011, 06:42:54 PM
Pretty easy money for any Getbig member. I'll send the 1st GB'er $1,000 (money order, cash, check, I'll meet you in Venice or Vegas and pay you in person) I'm good for the money- several people here know me and can vouch for my wager. I've made financial promises here before and have always paid.  It will take the winner a total of 1.5 -2.0 hrs work to win this bet, and the best thing is, you can't lose the bet. You wager nothing, I wager $1,000.

-You must consume 7,500 calories everyday, for one week, (7) days in a row.
-You are already eating the meals, just take a picture of each "meal".
-Each picture must be clear, in focus and show the entire meal.
-Each picture will have that day's date and approx time shown in the picture. (You fold a little piece of paper and write "meal #2 7/04/2011 9am" and place the piece of paper in the picture).
-You must post the pictures on Getbig at the end of each day for all meals eaten on that day.
-Each day must be a minimum of 350 grams of protein. That gives you anyway you want to consume the additional 6,100 calories.
-Here's the hardest part of all- at the end of day 7 you must post a picture of yourself and show that you are a COMPETETIVE bodybuilder, powerlifter, strength athlete, or a professional athlete not just some obese pig.

* Any strange, questionable pics or obvious BS will be disregarded.
*The total time to take the pictures and then post the pics each day for the entire 7 days should be about 1.5 - 2 hrs. That's $500 an hour for something you are already doing.

This is a dangerous proposition, TWB.  What is to stop some clever and enterprising Getbigger from merely preparing and photographing 7500 kcal/day but only eating a normal amount?

Your meals must start on/or by the 19th of June.  7,500 calories per day each day for (7) days, including 350 grams of protein per day. That's 12:01am on the 19th  - 12:01 am on the 26th of June. That's 7 days or 168 hours or 52,500 calories per week.

You are going to lose this bet. Any grown man can eat 7,500 calories a day for seven days. He will be sick at the end of the week, with lier inflammation and terrible skin, but he'll live. Now one month is a different story. You would need to have 300+ lbs of lean body mass to withstand that caloric intake for one month and no one can eat that much indefinitely.

I must admit that I could chow down maybe 4000 calories the first day, and not even think about eating the next, so I am a little sceptical of this.

One pound of ice cream has close to 2,000 calories. It is not impossible to eat a little less than four pounds of ice cream in a 24 hour period.

video each meal being consumed with no breaks for possible editing and time indexed, just post on youtube.  vid should be post right after each meal with card next to plate/s with date and time.  how much shit you have to down to do 7500 cals in day?  500 grams of protein is impossible.

chicken breast 20 grams
1 egg 6 grams

on top of that you have to put away rice and shit.

fucking impossible.

i'd add to the pot to see a getbig die doing this shit.

that's BS.  if i put money in the pot, a MF isn't drinking 3 protein shakes at 100 grams per shake.

1 shake with a limit of 100 grams and other 400 grams from chick and eggs = 500 grams with what ever else is needed to make 7500 cals

none of that Aquilles and Dov natural BS this time.

...Especially if you use gainers like Muscle Juice 2600. Three of those with a little extra protein powder per shake gives you nearly HALF of that 7,500 calories right there.

Most people who need higher calories to put on size tend to drink a lot of shakes.

I don't know from where this crazy rule came that you have to get all your calories from solid food. I certainly didn't back in the day, when I needed to put on more size.

x2, it's no problem to mix up a shake with 100g whey in .5 liters of skim milk and down two of these. That's already 235g pf protein in only two shakes.

Add a big casein shake before bed with another 60-70g of protein and you already have 300g.

Now 200g from white fish is not difficult to eat as well. I used to eat 1kg of white fish for lunch last year, with olive oil, salt and lemon juice.

The typical chicken breast that comes out of the package is about 8 oz and ~ 50g of protein (pic attached).

500g of protein would be around 10 of these.

Also can we get ".jpeg" added as a valid file extension around here so I don't have to change every single picture I upload to .jpg?

Chicken Breast skinless - Boiled   45g   7.5 grams

you still have to get to 7500 cals.

My diet back in college looked something like this (from a previous post):

#1 - Breakfast

#2 - Mega Mass 2000

#3 - Lunch

#4 - Mega Mass 2000

#5 - Dinner

#6 - Mega Mass 2000 (post-workout)

A serving of Mega Mass 2000 for me was 10 oz. of the weight gain powder in water, which yielded 1100 calories (210 g carbs, 55 g protein, 3 grams fat). During the winter months, when it was too cold to get up early for a sub-standard breakfast at the cafeteria, I consumed what I called "Poor Man's MET-Rx", based on an old-school recipe from the Iron Guru, Vince Gironda. This was a shake, consisting of 6 eggs, 2 cups of milk (I initally started with half-n-half, as Gironda suggested but found tha powdered milk was more economical), and one scoop of milk-and-egg protein powder (the Challenge brand that GNC used to sell at "Buy one, get one 50% off" prices).

I bought a food scale to measure my beef, making sure I got a half-pound of cooked hamburger. Those little scales usually come with a booklet that gives the nutritional breakdown of various foods. I used it initially, when I ate in the cafeteria. But, as school got more intense, I got lazy and decided to eat/drink the same foods every day, knowing what their caloric and protein contents were. Quantity-wise, I peaked at 6500 calories, half of which came from the 3 Mega Mass shakes. As I got busier/lazier, I'd say about two-thirds of my calories I drank from Mega Mass and "Poor Man's MET-Rx". Those 5 drinks gave me 300 to 320 grams of protein, depending on the size of eggs used for the blender brew.

A "clean" bodybuilding diet is usually defined as one low on junk food, namely simple sugars and unnecessary fats. Quality protein/weight gainer shakes are part of such a diet.

That's what I did back in school. Half to (at times two-thirds) of my calories came from such products. And it got the job done. Where is this unwritten rule that people who need higher calories to grow can only get them from solid food or it's "BS"?

This isn't a challenge at all. This is just an excuse for him to whine about his apparent frustrations of not being able to grow but not willing to "EAT" the foods he needs to put on more size.

That's $500 an hour for something you are already doing.

am i qualified??

How many cans of tuna-in-water in 7500 cals? And how much protein does that got?

I remember Mike Matarazzo put his canned tuna with diet coke in a blender...

I thought it was apple juice.

Nobody eats 7,500 calories per day. Nobody.

I agree that it's way excessive for any BB'er, and most can't, but it is definitely possible. If you shift your attention towards ultra endurance type sports and expeditions, the elite athletes can consume and burn this off no problem.

Food is my life. 7500 clean calories is alot of food! I went to Chipolte today for a burrito. They claim they are about 1000 calories. No way I could eat seven of those things in one day. I'm a huge sashimi guy. No way I could put down 7500 calories.

chipolte is one of my favorite restaurant  :P

Never eat fast food. White Castle rarely when I'm really in the zone. Mainly because of the way I feel after I eat the stuff. But Chipolte is getting to be like Starbucks here in the NYC. So Timmy tried it like two weeks ago. Kinda pricey. But tastes good and I don't feel lousy after eating it. Had the pork today. Really good!
if you never ate a whataburger youre missing out. But food is calorie pack as shit.
You can easy get 1600 with a #2. Hell, a triple has about 3000 for just the burger!! So eat that 2x a day with coke and 7500 is hit.
plus it is around 300 grams of protein
so
 meal 1 a triple
meal 2 a triple
meal 3 protein drink
win 1000 bucks. ;D

Triple whataburger is nowhere near 3000 calories, even with triple cheese.

Maybe if you get a shake and fries with it might might approach 3k but the burger itself is not even half that.

Chicken breast stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon and smothered in BBQ sauce.  Bake for 35-45 mins, best served with spicy texan wedges IMO.

LMAO at slim. Thank you for that sir, I feel like a fat tub of turd. I'm glad I don't like cheese. So fatning and a pain when I go out to eat. Because I will ask whatever I order if it has cheese in it.

It really isn't unattainable. I could do it easily, but I would have to eat a lot of shitty food. Seriously, I wish I could take this bet. I have done it before, not always 7500 cals per day,but a lot. I put on almost 25 lbs in 5 months....I didn't feel so great, didn't look so great, but my strength was at its highest.

When I was doing it, it seriously felt like a full time job. I had to set my watch for every two hours and eat...fuck that shit....ain't doing it again! BUT it can be done!
