Title: ESPN2...oh, brother
Post by: Andy Griffin on November 30, 2013, 09:04:15 AM
First time in years that the Tarheels vs Blue Devils has any meaning at all beyond the campuses, and those phags at ESPN have one of the damn female commentators in the booth.

I have to be more careful and specific in making wishes.  All week I was saying, "I sure hope they don't have Pam Ward doing the game."

This bitch is even more annoying  >:(

Great game.   Sorry to say it but I am actually happy for Duke.  Met Cutcliffe a few yrs ago.  Very nice guy.

He bought some equipt from me. It was when he first got the job.  I dogged him about not fitting in at Duke.  He coached at Tenn as an assistant when a guy from my hometown went there.

I remember him being credited with helping develop Peyton Manning.  Many say that Ole Miss hired him as head coach solely to get Eli to go to Ole Miss.

I remember that. 10 wins at Duke equal Coach of the Year nationally, imo.

that and that woman who used to do yankee baseball. i remember the venerable harry kalas asking robin bentura who was the toughest lefty you ever faced? ventura gave a few names at which point kalas asked him if he ever faced koufax? [koufax was retired before ventura was born] and they have a statue of kalas at the new ball park no to mention a restaurant and booth named after him. ::)
