Unemployed and loving it!
« on: April 08, 2014, 12:53:11 PM »
Weekly Unemployment Benefit: $514
Health Insurance: Free with 0 deductible/copay
Fuel Assistance: $795 Winter 13-14
Food Stamps: Application being processed.

This is a time in my life to stop and smell the roses. To sleep in. To enjoy that second cup of coffee in the morning. Lifting weights and buying protein powder with this free money. Movies from Redbox and sleeping like a baby in mid afternoon. I love it!

Do it! Use up those earmarked dollars and live the life, that's what they are for.

Don't forget to enjoy a glass of wine too, it will keep you from doing productive shit like applying for jobs and other traps.

I just did my taxes and almost lost my mind at what I have to pay to The Man every year. You can thank me later for financing your layabout lifestyle.

lolololololololololololo lololololololololol.

Enjoy it. Cause when it's time to go back to work, you're gonna hate life until you're re-institutionalized.

So the "Discipline" in your avatar is a joke of some sorts.

I was being facetious. I've been working since I was 14 and if I got laid off today I'll be working elsewhere tomorrow.

Most of us do waste some time during the course of a day. Wasting whole months is sad.
You mad?

Living the American dream!

However, you're going to have a nasty wake up call when the unemployment bennies run out and you cannot find a job.

People like him are only part of the reason why you are paying high taxes.

The US government is totally corrupt.

Do something productive with the time off. Read, relax (being lazy is not relaxing, go read a book under a tree or go for a walk), better yourself, do errands around the house and shit like that. Don't just jack off and nap all day.

I'll be taking time off at the end of this month and it'll be the first time in my life where I haven't worked. I worked in high school and almost everyday since graduating. Any time I have off, I try using it productively. If you just sit around being lazy, the time flies way too quickly and you've wasted that time. Make the best of it while you can. Just my two cents. If people want to sit around all day until their apartment suite smells like rotten garbage then that's their prerogative.

I have 2 jobs these days. Feels about a million times better then not doing anything. If only my face could clear up a bit after the flu then life is good lol.

I'll tell you something, the human body comes up with some funky smells when you don't shower and you run out of toilet paper. McDonald's napkins are alright but don't really get the job done.

Does it matter?

It can matter quite a lot actually, but every situation is different.

Now, if that was your situation, my comment would've been that this time could be one of the best of your life for new things so enjoy it.

This freakin board sometimes.

I had an unemployed room mate that was addicted to World of Warcraft. I have been introduced to those such smells. I would pay money to be able to get lobotomized and forget those smells...
