blacks , or chinese or arabs for that matter, do not recognize merit based on ideas , they only recognize it on skin color. If you re not one of their community, ie if you do not have the same skin color, they wont respect you.

Powell has admitted his grave mistake. It pains him greatly that he bears the burden of many lives lost. It pains him greatly that others in his party would not listen after the war was proven to be a farce. I have read a few interviews with Powell as well as Bob Woodward`s book and it is clear to see where the rifts are in the Bush Administration and the Republican party. Rationalists vs Stubbornists. Powell wants to see the war brought to a close. Powell thought the intelligence that he was given was legit and sound only to find that it was all a pack of lies. He resigned and admitted the grave error. This speaks volumes of the man`s integrity and character. Scott Mclellan also showed this kind of integrity and character. well said, i agree. it is only western caucasians who turn against their own kind and give benefits at their own kind's expense to the minorities. the slavic caucasions do not do this. i dont know why the western civilizations of caucasians do this, but it will be their downfall.

He knew before going in that the intel was faulty...he was also against going in, regardless. He should have resigned then. I respect Powell and really don't care who he endorses, but I've seen ur posts TA, u think the military is a waste of time etc.....ur a typical Lib.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show me where I said that. I have nothing but respect for the military. My father was in the 82nd airborne in the 50s. I was in college training to be a military officer at one point but declined to continue in lieu of a better opportunity.

General Wesley Clark would have been my first choice for President.

TA I've read the same books u have, plus if u paid any attaention to them u would see that Powell and others questioned whether the Intel was being fit into a nice box, so we could go to war. I've read all of Woodwards books on it as well as a few others that show Powell was skeptical. Plus unlike u I know how these people think and how this crap works. If Powell was openly skeptical amongst the Cabinet staff, he knew that he was right. We knew exactly what we were doing in going into Iraq and had a pretty good idea of what we would find or not find. Powell should have resigned before going in front of the UN.
