But even the most jaded officer likely never came across anything like this. A 29-year-old Michigan man has been arrested after allegedly committing a sexual act at a car wash.
Disgusting as that is, it doesn't sound all that strange until you hear the rest of the details.
The Saginaw area man at the centre of this sordid little tale was alone at the time - and was allegedly using one of the facility's vacuum cleaners to commit the act.
Cops found the unnamed suspect at the car wash after a local resident spotted something suspicious and called authorities around 6:45am last Thursday. An officer was dispatched and allegedly caught the man in the act.
The police report contains one of the most unusual phrases to ever come out of any local city - it states that the suspect was found "receiving sexual favors from a vacuum."
The man was being held in connection to the incident but despite the fact it was a car wash, there's no word on whether he's decided to clean up his act.
