The ONLY area Dorian beats ronnie is overall balance and proportion.
Look at their legs, Dorian has huge calves and thighs, wheras Ronnie's thighs are proportionally too big for his cavles.
Same thing for arms. Dorian's forearms are in proportion to his upper arms, Unlike big Ron
Big Ron is way ahead on everything else

It didn't take long for my lost puppy to find his way home in a Yates thread lol those pics you posted may mean something to you but they never came close to making an impact that the black & whites did or even to this day still do , Dorian at 269 pounds tramples ANYTHING Coleman has ever shown , keep trying to impress me ...maybe one day it will work ;)

Great, but biceps and chest are unimpressive compared to Coleman. Legs are better overall, back is about the same quality, Coleman a bit better delts. Overall I think Coleman is the winner (both men in their prime).

I looked at the pics posted and I think Dorian's front double bicep is just superior to Coleman's. Thicker all around. Arms (longer biceps), chest, quads, calves and tighter midsection.

The only advantage in this pic is that the first one's a lot smaller includnig smaller calves. Lines are the same actually.

Dorian doesn't actually have big quads by today's standards if you look. Plus that whole argument of small upper arms being "in proportion with forarms" seems lame. My shit upper arms are in proportion with my shit lower arms too btw ;D
His arms were actually good that year though, especially after Haney's reign they must have seemed amazing. But he never looked like that onstage, whereas 2003 Ronnie actually happened onstage, and his forarms and calves were pretty damn huge too!

You're right for the most part aesthetics have little to do with bodybuilding , and the aesthetic ideal changes all the time , just because it doesn't fit your ideal doesn't mean it's wrong , Bob Paris is considered to be one of the most aesthetic bodybuilders of all time yet he never one a single contest , during Haney's reign people were screaming Paris should be Mr Olympia because he truly represents the aesthetic ideal , it's more than aesthetics than win contests. And Haney was positively more aesthetic than Dorian so in the end it's all a matter of prospective

So you're speaking for Ronnie now? If you've read anything about Ronnie on the topic of Yates and vice versa you'd know they've been very complimentary about each other and have a deep mutual respect for one another so when Ronnie says he feels Dorian would beat him it isn't just a matter of semantics especially considered it's something Dorian did on a consistent basis , it's his opinion which on the topic carries a lot more weight than you or me ;) and playing devils advocate Dorian recently referred to Ronnie has ' maybe ' the best bodybuilder of all-time but I'm sure that's not a matter of semantics it's true because it coincides with your beliefs ::)

Oh that old appeal to numbers , because clearly if more people believe it , it has to be true lol more great logic , I'll concede more feel Ronnie would beat Dorian however this isn't proof just popular opinion , but I'm sure you knew that .
