I loved last year when they wore the AFL throwbacks..except the Broncos, they were hideous.

Indeed.  And on the NFL side, the old Redskins uniforms weren't as loud, but they were just as ugly.

haha, I actually agree.  As a lifelong Chargers fan who started watching them when Fouts was QB, I loved that uniform.  Everybody I know loves the powder blue, but I prefer the early 80's look. 8)

I agree with your earlier post about the old Rams uniforms.  I even liked the ones they wore until 2000...the yellow rather than that muted gold they now wear.

the Pats throwbacks are awesome....I've always said that.  and i agree Andy, I liked the Rams until they went to the gold thing.  I actually like Tampa's orange ones, never understood why so much hate for them.....also Denver and Seattle should go back to their 80's unis.

oh god couldn't stand fouts, even born and raised in San Diego, never was a chargers fan but yea they were good uniforms back then

I liked both those uniforms as well.  I actually liked the Jets uniforms they wore from 1978-1997 better than the ones they have now (which are the same as from 1963-1977).

Agree on all counts.  It's a shame the Oilers are no more, they had great unis.

You guys remember Heath Shuler?  He went to HS in the neighboring county....One year at half-time of a game he was in the punt/pass/kick thing....I'm older than he is so we were just watching......he actually beat the other competitors with just the pass and kick.....I don't remember exactly but he threw the ball around 50yds.....as a 7th or 8th grader!  No idea on the punt or kick......  course he was too dumb to read NFL defenses......but is doing well in Real Estate and is a politician now......haha
