HE walked into autitorium that yr offseason 92 for the mr suburban,and looked huge beyonf belief in a leather jacket he had to handpick the cattle to get the leather made lol...he had a look on his face like I am the biggest human 'muscular wise'on earth excuse me as I part the crowd..

yea man johnnie morant would guest pose alot as well as beau matlock and derrick whitsett, great years in early 90,s,dont think we will ever see a kick ass era like that again no time soon,what a batch of great bodybuilders walking around back then in jersey. bill grant was the MC alot for the suburban n jersey

Yates was a freak. His muscles had a hard dense quality unlike the bloated muscles that are seen on the Olympia stage today.

If you watch very closely in the videos, you can see the graininess that people (wolfox and others) have said is only a product of old video... Dorians skin appears to look so thin that the muscle tissues texture looks visible, almost like the skin is rough like sandpaper... you can't see it in most shots, it's washed out by the lights... by when he turns, in certain angles, you can see definitely see it.

no, its clearly evident on the sides of his quads... look closely in the 96 video on the sides of his quads during transitions when light is changing/casting shadows, youll see his skin has a porosity to it that the others dont. Their skin is smooth looking, his looks like concrete almost.

I feel like everyone that came along in the ronnie generation and later is always trying to downplay or find some excuse as to why 'graininess' didnt exist.. now its extended to people trying to explain why theres no difference in modern physique conditioning.... even though plenty of guys that have seen them all live say the same thing...
Dorian had a level of graininess no one else had, and the physiques of the 90s all had a level of detail and conditioning modern BBs lack. Things change, drugs change, diets change and physiques evolve.... well, you cant have everything, so weve sacrificed detail, hardness, density, and conditioning for size.
