"Running out of shit to do"? REALLY?

Are you really so empty and vapid that you can't think of anything to do in life that you enjoy? If you truly have so much free time why don't you use it to make other people's lives better? You enrich other peoples lives while you enrich your own. Years back when I was still on the mainland I worked once a week with the Meals on Wheels program. You meet some of the most interesting people with life experience you will never have.

Maybe you should take working out again seriously. Transforming your body will also transform your mind.

My dad retired a year ago and, after a lifetime of NOT spending any time at any gym, he took me up on my advice and now spends his whole freaking day at the gym.

Weights, cardio, pool... can't get enough.

Needless to say, his health has improved. A lot.

MARTY, My best bet is that you're in a rut and need a drastic change in your daily routine.

If I knew ya better, I might suggest joining a military unit and see the world though the eyes of an armed combat vet! You'll see many boring days but some days will be an experience of a lifetime.

Or maybe it's time for you to settle down and start raising some little 'champions' with a loving and loyal wife.

Or if either of the above is too damn extreme ... Get off your ass and do some serious travelng and see what's going on in crazy California, sunny Hawaii, or do some constructional inspections of those old pyramids in Egypt.

At one time in your life.... you gotta cut loose and see what's going on outside of your usual haunts!

It appears that NOW is the time for you to jump in and take that big step.

I once felt as you do now ... but it hppened on my 18 birthday .... so I took that big step and have never regretted one step of it.
