Female bbing seems to be going in a good direction.  When you look at female bbers like Rip and The BEAST I say go for it Laura  :)

They look incredible in those pics. Muscular, yet fit and very feminine. They look great!

It's not bad to hear an outside view on your BBing efforts from time to time. It's easy to get trapped in the 'get bigger bigger bigger cycle'. It's hard to keep a normal reference point as to what a muscular physique is when you are surrounded by images of extremely muscular folk, in time your baseline of what a normal body (should) looks like will shift to a muscular standard. An opinion like Geo's is not a dig on Laura perse; reactions from friends have made me decide to stay at 85 kilos, I look bulky when bigger. And at 85 Kg I can still wear my dandy clothes  ;D. Quality over quantity bebe!

...and those were the last words ever uttered by Mikey Arvilla.

The Police were never able to find his body... some people speculate the wood chipper in the back yard played a part, ...but when the jury saw the photo, ...they released Laura, and declared it "A Justifiable Homicide"

Thanks everyone.  :)  Believe me...it is not my intention to look masculine.  I just wanna be a chick with muscle.   ;D

LL my sister you look great either way; as a muscled chick or a figure chick, what I admire the most is your dedication to achieve your best and you keep fighting and challenging you and that in my book is the hardest obstacle to overcome!

Proud of you & Luv ya baby! Keep at it I need your motivation!

As Laura knows from some near book length pm's I sent to her on the issue hehehe, I too would like to see her stay in figure.

I started out as a die hard fan of female bodybuilding, started as a bodybuilder, but the direction it went over the years with all the drugs somewhat made me pull back. I still love it, attend shows regualy and in fact one of my closest friends is an pro bodybuilder...but facts are facts....a figure look is generally more acceptable to the general public..it's even more acceptable to those in the bodybuilding community. Only negative to me with figure vs. bodybuilding is figure shows are boring as hell to watch. When I go the the O or ASC I love watching the female bodybuilders do their thing, whereas figure I start drifting off a bit.

Laura should do whatever makes her happy though.........she could even flip flop and try both.

Women should always do bodybuilding of course.

Fitness and figure are for lamers.

We need more women in Female bodybuilding, with all these she-males running around pretending to be women.

As empty as paradise

Hedge, not disputing figure - but you try executing a full twisting backflip, banging out numerous strength moves and twisting your whole body into a pretzel all different ways.......and then tell me if fitness is lame. Fitness takes years of serious effort devoted to acheiving extreme flexibilty, cardio endurance, power, balance, strength and numerous other attributes...

Neither are 'easy' per se, but there is no comparsion to even be made to the difficulty level of figure vs. fitness.

Gosh can she bend in crazy ways. Now that is flexability at its best.

ROFLMAO Judi   ;D

You know it Powerpack  ;)

Thank you Hustleman.    :D

Thanks Hedgie.  Don't worry...you won't see a she-male in me, lol  :)

And CQ...definitely.  One cannot compare any of the 3 to each other as they are all completely different.   Although I haven't competed as a "fitness" competitor, I was a gymnast for many years...I know how difficult it is as I have done many floor routines.  Fitness would have been my avenue if not for my two car accidents in my past and the more recent one a year ago.  It makes tumbling and the arching of my back impossible.  :(  Which is why I went with figure.  But to me figure was not challenging enough (on stage) and I have decided to try the bbing...it appears that is were my genetics are strongest anyway.  We shall see.  :)

Thank you all for always supporting me and offering me advice, constructive criticism and praise when needed.  It is truly appreciated and keeps me focused and motivated.

xoxo
