Does the "good look" count to win a bodybuilding show Nowadays?

Last couple of local shows I'm been too I've noticed tha the pretty boys  with a persona seemed to have an edge of the late... even at lesser physique.. the bald "uneven & hardcore" but slightly better competitors were overlooked...

Is that a trend? I wanna get into the tattoo shit as well but with the right "color" it seem to even out.. and have many tattooed friends with flawless physique, I still think it's a mark down in some instance.

It plays a huge role.  If you look similar to the guy next to you from a physique standpoint you better hope you have a better haircut and a nicer smile.  Anyone who says otherwise is living in fantasy land.

I think there's a change of guard of the late; seems like the weirdo/hardcore looking freaks are being ignored more and more...
