Kurt Angle has agreed to plead guilty to a charge of reckless driving stemming from his arrest in North Dakota two weeks ago following a TNA house show.
Under the terms of the agreement, Angle would pay a $475 fine, serve one year of unsupervised probation, and undergo a "chemical dependency evaluation."
There are conflicting reports on whether Angle would serve jail time under the plea agreement. The Grand Forks Herald reports Angle would "receive a suspended sentence of 10 days in jail." The Associated Press reports Angle "won't serve jail time."
Angle filed his plea agreement on Friday without appearing in court. A judge will decide whether to accept the terms of the agreement.
On Friday, March 26, Angle was originally arrested and charged with "being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated," which meant he was not accused of drunk driving but being behind the wheel of a vehicle while allegedly intoxicated.
