I work with this very average looking girl once a week she posts something on Facebook about how she is constantly sexually harassed every where she goes. The hard lined stances are even respected. In fact, what many of them do is create or encourage situations, where the fix for them is what Muslims do in their countries.
Here is an example. Remember that woman who did "a social experiment" last year or so, by walking down a NYC street wearing tight fitting clothing? She complained that the men on the street were ogling her and making comments to her, catcalling, coming up to her, even grabbing her arm. So she wanted to wear what she wanted to wear, with only the men she was attracted to to make a comment or talk to her. The fix for that, is to wear her clothing underneath a burka, so that way no one is ogling her, and no man is making comments or catcalling her. You don't wear form fitting clothing, and be attractive, and purposely walk down a busy street in NYC with lots of men, and not expect some comments.
Once you stop accepting certain behaviors or take a stance in which there are clear defined lines. That is what is respected. Being wishy washy is not respected. And that is the gist of it all this, these women don't respect men who make your argument.

What has happened is that more women go online now, as men and women feel more comfortable talking online than face to face. Which in some ways favor the man with lesser game. And certain women are using this method to boost their egos, as they get many men pm/dming them. This will increase as women help to create an environment that men feel that there is no worth in walking up to a woman and talking to her, for fear of being accused of sexual harassment. And for some women, this will lead to frustration as well.
