i cant help but assume it has a significant amount of its thickness due to scar tissue. most pro bodybuilders have the same thing going on. its just in this pic of sammie the angle is perfect so you can see the irregular shape of the muscle.

i think he may have taken it at the IFBB worlds which i believe he won, hes 38 now and has won everything on the AM scene. time to give it a few years in the pros and try his luck before he retires i guess

ok , could very well be....
however he could have applied way way earlier in his career....
every bb that wins his (or her) national title.... with an ifbb sanctioned show ofcourse, can apply for ifbb pro status....
many have done it that way.....
it usually is not a very smart thing to do... you go from winning shows and being treated like a champ, to getting lost on stage among overgrown ogres and placing deadlast! lol!

I'm glad there's more than a few of you that recognize the hate. If anyone one here says that Sami isn't a legitimate contender in any IFBB Pro League 212lb class competition then they don't need to be on this page because they know absolutely nothing about bodybuilding. Personal opinions aside, it's obvious to see that Sami has a great physique and will be very competitive in the 212lb Class.

At least he has a more aesthetically pleasing physique than his main rivals Kevin English and Jose Raymond. His main drawback at the NY Pro will probably be his nationality :-\.

honestly.. sami, if he adds size, can compete against anyone.. i think he might be a bit "tall" for 212 against guys like english flex ect but no one can deny he is a great bodybuilder.. a conditioned sami at 225 or so?? forget it.. he would kill most any competitor..

Never thought this before, always had Sami as "maybe crack the top 3 guy" but he is looking better then English, but they will give it to English of course, fucken horseshit :(

It looks like for right now anyway that Sami
is the best under 212 bodybuilder in the world.
From what 90% were saying he stomped Kevin
and is put together better than Jose with equal condition
today. So, we'll see if he's better than Flex Lewis, David Henry
and Correa. Out of these, if David Henry could come in ripped to the bone
he would be hard to beat because he has a miniature back like Coleman
when he's ripped. Well done Sami!

Talked to Sami last night about Getbig and many other topics. Sami has proved himself big time. i had him winning the contest last night, as well as others, including the majority of the crowd. His physique and shape was incredible.
