Don't know much about these fighters but know Kimbo can take a hell of a beating and appears Ken can't. Easy to figure who will win unless Ken finishes it real early.

The UFC sued Ken Shamrock so he owes a fair bit of cash so not surprised he's signing up for this. Will be surprised if it gets sanctioned or if someone doesn't pull out with an injury.

Saw him against this young white Hillbilly type kid getting the absolute crap beaten out of him senseless. Could not believe it, he was toying with Kimbo. Kimbo would not give up. Fuckin' guy is as tough as they come and that fight was hard to watch.

Sorry, I misinterpreted the article. He tried to sue the UFC, however, he lost and the judge ordered him to pay the ufc's legal fees which were around $175K.

they where supposed to fight 6 years ago but the match fell through because Ken found out he was payed alot less than Kimbo so he got pissed.

Kimbo is lower than a journey man boxer. Shamrock is aged juicer who gasses even when he was young. Since Kimbo has zero take down defense and less than zero ground game I predict Shamrock by choke. Ken will never trade shots with him for a second cause Shamrock has a zero striking game.

In the US, Referee's are licensed by individual state athletic commissions. They are then assigned fights based on seniority, availability, experience, etc.
John McCarthy's pay check for Saturday nights UFC event at Staples Center in Los Angeles would have been issued to him by the California State Athletic Commission.
