What's a shame is that they can't compete successfully in "real" bodybuilding. They ARE bodybuilders, and I know people in those photos and they are generally pretty embarrassed by the femininity of it all.

I was planning to go to support some friends and for holiday but some things came up last minute. I dont think WBFF has released any of the high def photos yet. Surprised none of my boys made top 3 in muscle model category

Are you aware of how crazily corrupt it is? In the UK there's very little issue with all the IFBB sanctioned shows, but in the WBFF a lot of the judging is already done and people are told.

Yeah it is planned to an extent, like this summer I know they guranteed Sergi Constance his pro card before he even competed. But him nor Jaco De Bruyn made top 3 this year and hes heavily involved with the federation

The WBFF will be judging males on their masculine style, marketability and stage presence; Male models will also be judged on their ability to display their character, style and self-confidence.
Males will be expected to show off their physical attributes, that project a fit and healthy lifestyle; A lean, well-proportioned toned and healthy looking body is the look that is wanted.
40%- Overall Marketability
40%- Physique
20%- Stage Presence

Swimsuit round: Square cut spandex style swim shorts are the suggested choice for Male Fitness Model contestants
Evening Wear Round:
All male contestants are required to wear formal attire. Jeans and a tshirt are unacceptable, and will be marked down. All males are expected to present themselves in a runway style fashion for this category. Coutre GQ style dress is suggested.
Male Fitness Model Rounds: 2 Rounds
Round #1: Beach wear/swimwear round
Round #2: Runway Round Evening wear
Choice of shoe is completely up to discretion of competitor.
Male Muscle Model: 1 Round
Round #1: Physique round Square cut shorts
Square cut spandex style swim shorts are the suggested choice for Male Muscle Model contestants. There is only one round for this competition.
This category is for the athlete who is too big to be considered as a fitness model but does not wish to compete as a bodybuilder. This category is judged based on a 60/ 40 split. Males can also choose to crossover in either bodybuilding or Fitness Model.
60% based on the physical physique
40% overall marketability and stage presence.
Female Diva Fitness Model Criteria:

I was there and competed this weekend, as a competitor and Pro of the federation I have nothing but good things to say. The competition was thick, everyone brought their A Game. I like the image they portray and reward..Overall aesthetics. Its not just a size battle. 1 of my favorite movies is American Psycho, its sort of a depiction of the perfect male form. I think if Christian Bale's character competed, he'd be in The WBFF ;D
But in all seriousness, I think its great there is a stage for men and women who have goals in the commercial and fitness realm

then again who wouldnt want to be competitive bber so they could be moon faced, purple and pregnant for 50 weeks of the year, except for the last two weeks before their show.
you guys need to wake up. this is the future. bbing is dying. and thank god. it represents everything bodybuilding' isnt about. the only thing that keeps it alive are the muscle worshippers and schmoes.
