Lee Thompson admitted on PBW that it's not whether Phil will win, but how much distance he will put between himself and 2nd place. Hopefully, the judges will look past their love for Phil and judge what's actually happening onstage.

Phil has the narrow shoulders but overall his structure is just better. As Coach said, Kai has the clothes hanger shoulder structure with no traps and it looks even worse that Phil's narrowness.
Long legs and short torso is better than the opposite but in Kai's case his waist is just too cramped.
Kai would need another 10lbs of muscle to beat Phil, everything else remaining the same.
Phil's worst pose is the front lat spread - the upper body.

The problem is the bodybuilding media who, for some reason, need to have a poster boy to idolise.
Not much has been said of Dexter, who I think looks great. Not sure if that means he should win, but it's interesting that the 'expert commentary' don't attach much value to what his improvements mean for the sport.
Similarly, just how poor Branch looks and how much that reveals about his limitations, is clear evidence of just how fortunate his recent successes have been. Of course, the 'expert commentary' don't seem to want to talk about what that means for the sport.
