CARMEL, N.Y. – Two boys have been elected "cutest couple" in the senior class at their suburban New York high school.
The choice at Carmel High has created something of an online sensation, thanks to a yearbook photo of the smiling boys in a close embrace.
But it seems to have been accepted with little notice at the school.
One of the boys says they're getting teased a bit — but that's because of their Internet fame, not for being gay. Other students say the boys are popular, smart and helpful.
The principal says acceptance of gays does not seem to be an issue with high schoolers these days. The "cutest" boys — and the mother of one of them — say they've never had a problem at school.

It is safe to say, being a homosexual in conservative Christian America/Europe of the 18th/19th century was not well received as it is today.

To my way of thinking there are two main reasons a guy can get an erection for another guy. One (as in Gay 4 Pay) is that they are so narcissistic that anyone paying them any attention and perhaps some money turns them on. The other reason is that men turn them on sexually.
Unfortunately, a lot of men have selective memory. If they once had sex with another guy, regardless of whether they enjoyed it or not, they will tend to minimize or completely block out the experience, particularly if they are leading a straight life. To me that is just plain dishonest and mentally unhealthy.
