Then ... and Now. I prefer the " Then " look ... Just my Two Cents ... and, again ( as I've mentioned before a few times ), I saw Vic Guest Pose this past May here in Michigan ... I was APPALLED on how he looked ... he resembled a Fat Man on Stage ! Much like Wes's Depiction.

" no bodybuilder wants to stay the same size n shape year after year " ... that's funny, because I figure if your Winning the Mr. O then you might very well want to stay the same Size and maintain the same Shape " year after year " ... not only that, but I can think of quite a few Bodybuilders that did well looking the same ( basically ) Year after Year ... how about Shawn Ray for starters ? ;)
I think it's best that Bodybuilders of Today take it GRADUALLY ... it seems that NONE of them know the Definition of that ... everyone's so quick to BLOW UP ! There's WAY TO MANY Bodybuilders out there Today that put TOO MUCH Size on their frames ... I feel that Vic is one of them. That was ONE of the points I was trying to make.
* On a side note, I'm eating Oatmeal with Natural PB in it ... tastes DAMN GOOD !! :D *

It may not be bodybuilding , but its what most bodybuilders do.....they want to become bigger, maybe its not the best for the fans, but im sure 90% of men who dont even compete still want to get bigger all the time ( muscle, not fat )

If they want to guest pose and not look like fat asses then they need to keep in shape.

It may not be bodybuilding , but its what most bodybuilders do.....they want to become bigger, maybe its not the best for the fans, but im sure 90% of men who dont even compete still want to get bigger all the time ( muscle, not fat )
I agree and it's too bad. I've always maintained that it's MUCH harder to get freaky conditioning than it is to get freaky size.

Hes not fat. Granted he is smooth and not ready to step on a Competition stage. But its off season ffs.
His belly is looking bloating but can you imagine how much food he is eating??
Plus he is aiming for Jay which means he needs more size.

vic has maxed out his physique, i think. he can only keep that amount of musculature, tighten it up, and slim the waist....he still looks awesome, and definitely should have placed ahead of jay; but one thing wrong with his physique is his shoulders are naturally not that wide (bone structure). dont get me wrong...his DELTS are great, its his shoulder width that lags.

It hasn't been for the last 20 years, just since about 97'. I've been calling out judges for years.

Yes, I agree and it's been downhill for most of those years since. There was a time when Ronnie had great symmetry and conditioning that Yates would never even think about coming close to, but then his symmetry kept getting worse and worse over the years and then his conditioning started to go, each year it seemed after 2002-3 it just seemed to be getting less and less sharper, but funny as imbalanced as he was in this last Olympia, he was actually one of the best conditioned.

why don't we all stop blaming yates and ronnie.
dorian was an absolute freak of size and condition and everyone knew it at the time. audiences would stare in awe. ronnie maintained and possibly improved the standard for a few years.
blame mr pillsbury doughboy himself, jay cutler and the corrupted judges that got paid off by muscletech.

if the 2 men in the pictures are alive well and free,,all the kids of getbig and the world will stay free,,
that comes to show you again my internet board warriors that yoru goverment doesnt give 2 shits about your personal cheap change orders since those 2 men in pictures order a lot more than cheap change orders but! for personal use as personal supply! the ones who need to runaway already done it or got busted but please stop with this paranoia and when you get knowck on door just pull out this 2 men pictures and say that you wanted to look like them because they are been advertized on magazines.. :D dont wory no one will come knocking on yrou doors my little scared birds its the heads of the snake who already got the boom of their life and it will go to famous athletes and bodybuilders are not among them,,but please dont do rec drugs ever and dont use underground garbage made on us grounds!

If they want to guest pose and not look like fat asses then they need to keep in shape.
The ironic thing is comapred to a lot of top pros I have seen guest posing he didn't look THAT bad.
I agree 100% however, that if you want to get paid decent $$$ to guest pose, you should be in better shape overall.

I can't understand why all you guys hate if pros bulk in off season!? I want to see improvements in their physiques and you can't change your physique a lot with 4% bf.
If you are doing that you will end up like Shawn Ray...no improvements at all trough pro career. Is that what you want - everybody looking the same every year ???

Have a look at this change in arm structure from 6+ years ago. Second picture is two years ago. Third is this year. He must have been hitting those curls hard! ::)

I remember seing pictures of him in 2000 doing back double bicep shots and his bis were totally flat. then 3 years later in the same shot they were peaked like ronnie colemans im like wtf??

dexter has ruined his midsection also... it looks terrible. The lines on the side of his abdomen actually get wider as it goes down his waist instead of narrower... He has tried to play the size game like everyone else, but his structure doesn't really support a super heavy weight very well...

you cant be sure about anything these guys are taking 100% but.. by the changes in some peoples bodies you can see the effects of some things like GH and synthol.
Just looking at dexter.. I believe he is on GH year round in small dosages.. thats how he stays so lean most of the time except for this last off season he got FAT... im sure it wasnt just a change in diet because if his metabolism is sooo fast it shouldnt have changed THAT much unless he was seriously ill. Most likely he had to get off of everything he was taking and save it for the Olympia.
I remember in BFTO 2006.. Mitsuro Okabe says something along the lines of.. I thought you dont really do cardio? Because he is showing him the treadmills IN HIS HOUSe..he goes I dont.. not as much as everyone else..only like 4 or 5 days a week for only 30 minutes.
Mits goes.. uh huh......then it switches to the next scene LOL!
