I'm looking for a source to get kettlebells in or around Atlanta, Georgia. I'm basically too cheap to pay shipping on 400+ lbs and would rather just drive and pick up the ones I want to get. If anyone knows a good "barbell store" (I'm thinking of a place like Barry's Barbell in Columbus Ohio) can you let me know?

Call Marc Bartley at South Carolina Barbell. He probably would have some on hand to sell, I know he's sold Kettlebells in the past. Where around Atlanta do you live? I live on the Northside up in Suwanee.

Thanks. I actually live about 100 miles from Atlanta, but its a reasonable road trip in to pick up a set if there is a place selling them. I'm thinking I want to get several, so the cost of freight is going to be a few hundred dollars. I'm such a tightass, I'd rather spend $45 on gas and take my ranger to go get them myself than pay freight. I also figured that Atlanta being the biggest city around was more likely to have a place selling them than around where I live.

Damn Vet you are in luck, I was going to tell you to check with Fitness Depot in Marietta. Just went to their website and discovered that they now do carry Kettlebells. Wish they had these back in the summer when I ordered mine! They are selling them for $2.00 a pound. They have a 10% special introductory coupon on their website for these, but it looks like the offer expired the end of October.

Just picked up my first kettle bell for 90 bucks! Its 106lbs and I brouhgt it back from Vegas in my back pack. :D
