uh there are ::)

I played a little golf last weekend

not much physical exertion, no wonder a fatass like john daly can play ;D

You can disagree with earl...but there has to be some distinction between the guy who hits arms and chest before going out Friday night to the guy in the gym day in and day out, dieting, busting his balls etc. to get onstage  ;)
just not good enough

But the difference between you an Daly, is that he walks a 6 mile course up and down hills and can drive the ball 360 yards with full rotation while you puttering around in a cart driving up to the ball!

COMPETITION IS WHAT MAKES A SPORT A SPORT

according to the dictionary 8)

E

We've already established that the dictionary definition is silly and vague. Can you address what I said in regards to "athletes".

Are beauty pageants or bridge games considered sport? The former isn't much different from a bodybuilding show.

You said competition is what makes a sport a sport. A beauty pageant is a competition. By your logic, it's a sport. Same with any board game played between people.

Hey, just because most paraplegics could climb a flight of stairs faster than anyone on the Olympia stage doesn't mean you have to insult the Special Olympics over it.

They walk on treadmills!!!!!!  :o
