In the context of the rest of the body imo very big calves are not good to look it, they take away from the thighs. Take a look at ronnie coleman's profile, just his sill oh wet, when he's relaxed, that's perfection and his legs look like they belong on a horse partially because his calves aren't huge and his legs taper as they say, I dunno if that's the right word, I mean to say huge calves don't look good on stage but look good wearing shorts at the grocer store

That's because they probably don't work on their lines and they don't know how to present their physiques.

Most of them would look much better if they knew how to pose.

But the IFBB doesn't consider the ability to pose an important part of how a physique looks.

In anycase, in terms of aesthetics, if you have calves but no thighs, your legs lwill still ook good. If you have thighs but no calves, your legs will look stupid.

It's basic aesthetic knowledge but these days, the judges don't consider aesthetics much anymore.
