if you go by scoring -- tallying strikes landed and so on
jones won round 1 barely
gustafsson won round 2 barely
gustafsson won round 3 by a decent margin
round 4 basically a tie
jones won round 5 by a decent margin
= tie
this fight was obviously not a tie though, gustafsson was on the verge of collapsing from the 4th minute of the fourth round, and jones never looked in trouble
so what, his face was messed up
did it look like he was about to fall over, was he running away, was he gasping for breath and unable to keep his hands up?
scoring should only be used when the winner isn't obvious
for the first time, i have to say, horrible post "1"
that said, gustafsson made jones look bad in the boxing department... jones definitely has room for improvement here
