Title: Vinny Galanti will win Masters Nationals, light heavy and overall!
Post by: GHGut on July 13, 2008, 11:22:27 AM: I don't usually go out on a limb and make predictions...

but I got done shooting Vinny Galanti this morning for my MuscleMag column and I've never seen him look so good! If he holds his conditioning, makes weight, and then fills out, he is unstoppable unless a genetically-better gifted athletes shows up.

I think this is apropos as Flex magazine has Frank Zane on the cover this month and Vinny's physique always reminded me in a way of Zane.

I'd post some pics but one don't know how and two didn't ask him if I could so I wouldn't do it without his permission.

Watch out for Galanti next weekend...his thirteenth go at a pro card will be bad luck for all the other competitors!

THere are bodybuilding fans and then there are hardcore bodybuilding fans...the guys (like me) who follow not only the National level and the national-qualifiers but the little grass root shows too. Like someone who is so fanatical about baseball he keeps up on the farm teams.

Only different is no one looks at me funny on the bus or train when I'm reading Sporting News or Sports Illustrated. You should see some of the faces they make when you've got a bodybuilding mag open and there's a separated quad or shredded glute!

I like the Masters, and I think Vinny is pretty cool also. Hope he wins.

lol, it's the same with the internet. When I'm on campus and someone sees my screen with guys posing in trunks...they ALWAYS look at the screen, pause, than look at me, lol never fails!
