This has all the makings of another M.E. cluster fuck. If Assad falls and those chemical weapons are still lingering about things could get interesting.

U.S. Increases Aid to Syria, Now Totals $210 Million

The State Department announced today that it had increased aid to help with humanitarian situation in Syria. Today's announcement stated that an additional $14 million of aid would be given, pushing the grand total of aid to Syria to $210 million.

 "Today, Deputy Secretary of State William J. Burns announced the United States is providing nearly $14 million in additional humanitarian aid that

will provide nutrition support for children, as well as additional emergency medical and winterization supplies to families in need inside Syria," the State Department spokesman said in a statement.
