I've heard horror stories about some of those meds..

After reading alot on the subject, it seems no one, including docs, definitively knows how or why many of these type of meds cause weight gain.
Though one I know of, Welbutrin, causes weight loss.

From my own use of paxil, it doesn't increase my appetite at all. It just seems to make my body cling to fat. Even on sub 1000 calorie, no carb, high cardio I just couldn't lose any significant
weight. And on a single tame cheat meal I would put on pounds and inches. Which was nuts!

Which is all why when I cut weight I first go off paxil.

Looking good Josh!!

I used to take Seroquil........put on some serious weight,all in my gut.

I had no clue as to why I was getting so fat,then m doc told me it makes you gain weight.

I quickly had him change my medication.

I wish he would have told me from the start........asshole!!

Shit is good as a failsafe sleep aid. I was using trazodone as well but I can't stand that hangover feeling that persists halfway through the next day.

I reckon you get acclimated to the drug over time and this subsides, but I was only using it sparingly and in very low dosages. For some reason, higher dosages don't help with sleep as much.

Always assumed the hangover was due to the alpha-1 antagonism. Not fun either way.

I used to be on trazedone--knockout city for sleep but the next day was awful

Took Trazadone too..........made me feel like an emotionless zombie the next day.

Got off that one real fast.
