Then unless you crappy genetics, there is no reason to do it. It was stupid when Flex did it (and he had good arms) it was stupid when Brad Hollibaugh did it, it was stupid when Ernie Taylor did it, it was stupid when Gregg Valentino did it. And it always looks bad, even though Flex was better at it than anyone else.
"Lift heavy" is relative. Even Ronnie Coleman had said all one really needs when doing 21s is a 35 on each side, and of course he was "on".
And was this strict rep 205s, and strict rep 120 hammer curls (because your forearms would be bigger)? Or were these "bragging reps"?
