FUNK, Regarding the photo of the plates you posted on page #1 ….. Overt the years I have trained with each of those plates on both ends of an olympic bar and sometimes squeezed together to test my hand lifting strength and have had the opportunity to meet and talk with each of the original owners of each of those plates except for the “GOOD” pones … which I’ve never even heard of before.
Plus Weider’s plates which you seem to have overlooked.
And to the best of my knowledge … none of them were accurate when it came to their exact weight accuracy.
Old memories of Hoffman, Terpak, Lurie,, Rev. Zuver and Uncle Joe and his bro (Ben) ….. all with some funny stories behind each of them but nothing so derogatory like most GetBiggers would seem to enjoy.
I plan to write those stories in the book I’ll never write someday.
