“There is no doubt that the last several days have been difficult for the News Group,” NBCUniversal News Group President Cesar Conde said in a memo to staff. “After listening to the legitimate concerns of many of you, I have decided that Ronna McDaniel will not be an NBC News contributor.”

“I want to personally apologize to our team members who felt we let them down,” Conde continued. “While this was a collective recommendation by some members of our leadership team, I approved it and take full responsibility for it.”

But imagine having a conservative news outlet and a host started spewing liberal ideology and dissing her superiors on air. You would be outta there, and Fox terminated her too for something she said. They ALL have an agenda which you can't go against.

I read the her wiki page and she seemed really stupid, spewing ridiculous conspiracy theories, even said literally Satan was behind something. Had to apologise for some CT which she blamed on someone else. She didn't last anywhere, liberal or conservative.

It depends on how you look at it, the best radio hosts (Old Stern, Bob Grant, Limbaugh, etc....) know fighting with liberals (and vice-versa) makes the best radio, etc.... Alas everyone is so scared of losing advertisers, and a few days of social media upheaval, that you never get real discourse anymore. And then with each successive hiring and firing cycle it moves more left or right, but always more milquetoast.

It's been going on in big media for about 30 years now.

You are largely correct, this response isn’t that unexpected.

It’s a bit pathetic when this is what triggers such a response.  Nicolle Wallace anchors an afternoon show.  This is Ms Wallace:

This woman is complicit in the stealing of the 2000 election.  A real stolen election!  Not only that, she laundered all sorts of lies and misinformation about two illegal wars to the press.  Torture, civil rights violations, war crimes, you name it.  This woman is a veritable piece of shit who has done real harm, but they don’t make a peep about her.
