LONDON (Reuters) - Street dancers Diversity were the surprise winners of television contest "Britain's Got Talent" on Saturday, beating favorite Susan Boyle who became an Internet phenomenon and global celebrity after appearing on the show.

The troupe, which includes three sets of brothers and comes from southeast England, won 100,000 pounds ($160,000) and the right to take the stage at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen.

One of many reasons I don't watch those shows.     >:(

I am so glad I don't have to come in and listen to all these over-40, morbidly obese, pear-shaped, no education beyond high school uggo gals in my office go on and on about American Idol for the next few months.  OK, rant complete.

I agree with my little Miglet.

It doesn't take much to wear better clothes and put some time into your appearance.
It is basic human nature, people are first judged on how they look.
