Title: If you were a High school Recruit, Which school would you choose?
Post by: Doug_Steele on June 11, 2009, 04:57:23 PM
Football:

Michigan:   This is where I went, so I really don't need to take any other visits, but since I have to take four more:

OSU:  I'm sure they treat recruits really well.  I might even come home with some cash.   And I'll enjoy telling them at the end that I'm going to UM.

USC:  Would be a great place to play.

Florida:  Top shelf football school, and SEC women.

Texas:   Top shelf football, and Austin is one of my favorite places.

Basketball:

Louisville:  Rick Pitino is the best coach in college basketball.

North Carolina:   Its the pinnacle.

Michigan:   Because its Michigan.

OSU:   Same as above, but swap Matta for Tressel.

Duke:  I'd love to play for that coach in front of those fans in that arena for four years.

How could you leave Boston College out? The Cold, Snow or ice  ;D I would have a hard time turning down the money to attend U$C and the women.

Boston College is pretty damn cool.  However, there are over 75 collges in and around the city and no one cares about college sports.  The spring, the fall and the summer are awesome here in Boston.  I love to ski so I like the winter : )

I would go to Hawaii...i had the chance. But the year before they were the "rainbow Warriors" (sounds like a gay rights group). The had Rainbows on their helmets and they wore pastel green. They were 0 and whatever like 2 years before and June Jones was like "were gonna turn this thing around and you can be a part of it" I was like "fawk naw" (but i did take the free trip). lol

you should have considered committing to UH. the year you would have played was the year we won our conference, and with the talent we had the year before anyone could have started, every position was open. its summer everyday here, beautiful beaches, beautiful girls, great food, and a great night life. i work in downtown, and nothing beats eating my lunch at the beach, or going for a swim before work.

Hockey - Can come out right of high school - same as above

Screw Penn State. Go with Rutgers because of the Academic Prestige!! I had a few friends that went to Temple
