Of course they were acquitted. The full story came out in trial. It wasn't the one sided story that the family sold the news who in turned sensationalized it.

Kelly Thomas weighed 135 lbs and was beaten to death by six cops. He was murdered in the street by the cops, and the only two charged just got off scot-free.

Kelly was accused of stealing mail (which was later proven he did not do) and he was beaten to death while crying for his father. Every one of those dirty cops deserves long prison sentences, but they are out on the streets free to do it again.

He was even apologising for anything he did that might have been misconstrued. He seemed genuinely confused by the police officers orders that seemed to him to be contradictory. The fact the Police officer threatened him by saying he was about to fuck him up, Kelly could obviously sense they were about to beat him and tried hard to avoid it, but the rest is history. Murder by COP! Sickening
