I kinda worry about that.
It can happen and it does happen. If you die skydiving the insurance companies legally have the right to call it a suicide therefore nullifying all policies.
If it was totally safe they wouldn't have any legal recourse to do this practice.

thankyou to everyone that has helped...sorry i couldn't say that yesterday but i had a mad migraine..it continues today but better $:-\$ and i just couldn't look at my bright putter screen for long..

most of the jumps i've made were done in 1 summer...i ws going like 4 times/week...nowa days i jump once/yr in the summers

instructor....me...nahhh ...in maryland the first 8 jumps ya do hafta be tandem and talking to my jumpmaster i gather its really hard to control a jump if the other person is over 200ish lbs...besides i've seen 1 too many people pee and poop themselves (usually older people..60 n above) and get all that stuff on the jumpmaster to actually consider it...last time it ws some geneticist lady jumping on her 70th some b-day...she son bought her the jump as a present...long story short..she went fetal ..soo she had one helluva fast jump/landing and 2 she pooped her self

the altameter will auto deploy your shoot at 2000 ft..in case ya pass out...

i got yelled at once(by airport manager) cause i payed the pilor an extra 200 to put the cesna in a vertical climb

went to 16500 ft instead of the usual 12000 and unhooked my altameter from the auto deploy and pulled under 1000ft

i only had like 400 ft to go by the time my canopy opened and it ws one hard landing by mang o man twas fun!

It's these kind of antics that indicate this may not be the best activity for you. Everything has risks; at least play by the rules.

that would be awesome. I went unerwater cave exploring and it was great. to look up and see the sun shine through the opening and then pitch black behind you. I liked the serenity in diving.

yup, it is actually a lot of fun. some scary moments though. but great. We did some shipwreck dives too. We went regular spelunking and there were times were it got hairy.
