Marvin Ward won his pro card at the Nationals in '03. He's another one of those idiots who turned it down and decided to keep on competing as an amateur.
He turned it down? Well, at the time when there were no 202lbs and under class, it might have been a smart move, but now, he should accept it once he wins his class, add 10-15lbs in the right places and give it a shot while there's still time. To be a pro is something special and he's got the goods to do reasonably well with added size.
